Puppies start going to their forever families

Puppies start going to their forever families

Well, we knew the puppies would have to leave us from the day they were born,  but that does not make it any easier.  Lots of tears and sadness mixed with joy and happiness here, as we let go and the new families come to take their babies home.

I always check in with the boys to make sure they want to keep experiencing the joy and the heartbreak of raising puppies, and this time Sandy said, "I want to keep having puppies because I like the chance to take care of them for the first part of their lives, and I like to help make other people so happy. " Mind you,  he said this through tears! It definitely hurts to say goodbye, but the pictures and emails and texts we get about  how well the pups are doing and how much everyone loves them really helps.  We also know we will stay in touch and see our babies again.
We are expanding love in the world, and expanding our extended Coton family. It is a beautiful endeavor and journey.
Here are some pictures of Peyton's (Maddie Gaston) and Cam's  (Jasper) new families.
Also one of our visitors to help socialize the pups. ....

  1. We truly loved meeting your family and pups/dogs, Karen. What a wonderful environment, both for the pups and boys! We're having so much fun with Jasper - and he's a very sweet, well mannered boy as well. Still not getting enough sleep (me) but i know it won't last forever. Everyone who sees him falls in love with him and asks me where I got him - so you may have some more customers from Pacific Palisades sometime in the future! Hello to everyone! And thank you for everything!
